Chenese Lewis Show Jaclyn McCabe Jaci Blue

Jaclyn McCabe is a radical self-love and body positive advocate who believes beauty is a mindset, not a waistline.™ After spending too many years dreading the dressing room, she decided to create a space where plus-size women don’t need to choose between clothes that fit and clothes that are fabulous. Jaci Blue, a plus-size boutique in New Orleans, offers women like her exclusive access to bold prints, luxe fabrics and Jaclyn’s signature style in sizes 12 and up. In addition to her boutique, Jaclyn created the annual Not So Skinny Dip: A Plus Size Pool Party happening June 15, 2019, in New Orleans and is adding self-love coaching to her brand in late 2019.

The Chenese Lewis Show is the #1 podcast for plus size women! Established in 2008, the iconic podcast features in-depth interviews with a wide range of industry experts, including plus size influencers and national brands.

How to Measure

Bust
Measure around your body under your arms and over the fullest part of your bust.

Waist
Measure around your body at your natural waistline. Keep the measuring tape comfortably loose.

Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, placing the tape around midway between your crotch and belly button.

Inseam
Take a pair of pants that fit you well and lay them flat. Measure the distance along the inner seam between the crotch and the hem.

Bra - How to Measure

Step 1: Measure your band size.

With your bra on, measure firmly around your rib cage, underneath your breast. The measuring tape should be parallel with the ground. Please reference chart below for band measurements.

Step 2: Measure your cup size.

With your bra on, measure the fullest part of your bust. This works best with a non-padded bra. Make sure the tape is taut and straight.

Step 3: Calculate your bra size.

Subtract your band measurement from your cup measurement. Generally, for each inch in difference, the cup goes up by one size.
Range 29"–32" 33"–34" 35"–39" 39"–41" 42"–43" 44"–45"
Size 34 36 38 40 42 44

Example:

Step 1: 33" = 36 Band

Step 2: 38"

Step 3: 38" - 33" = 5", which is an E cup size in Prima Donna or DD in Elomi

Step 4: Refer to Sister size chart to see equivalent cup sizes by brand
